Callie is bred by Hilda Gurney and was showing successfully at 4th lvl when she injured her meniscus and is now only breeding sound. She was a lovely, international quality, mover and would have gone very far. Now her sons and daughters will have to do it for her and her first foal shows every indication to do so. Her sire, the Westphalian stallion Chrysos, was for several years the top dressage producer in the US. The sire of her foal, Warsteiner, is a gorgeous young SWB stallion by the famous Weltmeyer. He won his stallion testing and received excellent gait scores as well as a perfect 10' for type. His oldest offspring are now 3 years old and are showing great dressage potential, winning and getting diplomas at the Swedish 3-Year-Tests. The colt Winston can be registered in the Swedish Appendix registry or AWR and is also for sale, price $8000. |
